CHAPTER : 6

SUMMARY

The next day, Dr Hafez, Leila, Amalia and Ramon went into the tomb. They found some human boners and a skeleton of a man in a sitting position. They were surprised to see a big crack in the skull. Leila believed it could have been broken by falling rocks. Dr Hafez thought he might have been killed. He also said that the body could be of a noble man or an important official. If a gold mask was found, they would be sure it was a king.

One morning Leila was sitting outside the tomb when Amalia came to her. Leila told her that she saw her sitting with Martin Lander at a café in Quenco. Amalia said she had known him for years, but she didn’t want to talk more.

Leila sent an e-mail to her sister, telling her about her discovery of a llama gold figure. Dr Hafez insisted on taking a photo of her holding the gold llama. After finishing the work, Dr Hafez invited them to have dinner at the best restaurant in town. Leila didn’t go with them. She went out to have some fresh air. Strangely, she found the door of the tomb half-opened. She saw a light inside and a man whom she knew from his back.
